HIGHLAND WALK

Highland Walk commercial was designed in tandem with Highland Walk residential to create a community where residents can truly live within walking distance of an array of neighborhood shopping.  The community is defined by the unique interaction of the two components.

The site was designed with a central promenade to provide a gathering spot and focal point where the residents and shoppers can gather. This helps create a transition from the commercial to a residential area that is purposeful and smooth. Long sight lines and limited cut-through streets provide good circulation and access to help avoid congestion. These design elements make the site a pleasant experience for shoppers and residents.
